Using the 3-D digital model created from your scans, SureSmile Treatment Planning Software allows you to make
detailed decisions about treatment strategy. You can:
- Precisely define the desired correction for each tooth
- Evaluate your target setup against the malocclusion to understand how each tooth will move during treatment
- Compare initial model and target setup with current tooth positions via a mid-treatment scan
The SureSmile Service Center will do the legwork for you. Using your instructions, we’ll produce a digital target
setup for you to evaluate. If you need to make adjustments to it after your setup is delivered, you can send additional
instructions to us or perform the corrections yourself on-screen.

That’s where SureSmile’s robotic archwire customization process comes in, providing:
- Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) heat-treated wires permanently bent to place the correct directional force on each tooth
